I don’t normally get to talk about myself this much. What do you
even talk about when you are writing a bio about yourself? Let's
start at the beginning... It was late afternoon on a cold Seattle
day in February. A little girl named Jasmin had just been born...
just kidding, but I’m fairly sure that's when my gift started.
Again, kidding, but let’s jump ahead to the good part. I graduated
from Cortiva Institute Seattle in 2013, I have also completed 200
hours of reflexology training from Bellevue Massage School, as well
as extensive training in Thai Yoga massage and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi.
This spring, I will be attending the Euro Institue in Renton,
Washington, to pursue my esthetics education. Learning is one of my
greatest passions. Any opportunity to be a student I take as often
as I can. In 2016, I had the great fortune to return to my alma
mater, Cortiva, as an instructor for a few years before their
closure.
As a licensed massage therapist, I have had the opportunity to work
with chiropractors, in day spas, and even did a short stint at a
massage franchise chain. I know what you're thinking. I’m glad I did
it. These experiences have given me great insight into the type of
massage environment I want to cultivate for my clients. I have been
introduced to many amazing massage therapists throughout my decade
of experience - all who have bestowed upon me tidbits of wisdom that
I carry with me into my treatment room. My wide array of experiences
has helped me create my own unique flow, combining elements of
Swedish, myofascial, lomi lomi and Thai yoga massage.
In the summer of 2022, while quarantining at home after contracting
Covid, I was able to reflect on my experiences and next steps. I
decided it was time to act on the next step in my practice (after
waiting my full isolation period, of course) and you guessed it -
this is when Flow Therapies was born. Flow Therapies came out of
wanting a space to call my own, in which I could fully immerse
myself in my creative, intuitive flow. It was created to empower
clients to invest in their wellness. When your spirit is well, so is
your body. This space is made for you to pause from the hustle; to
be present in your body and quiet in your mind. A place for you to
let go of what you do not need in the moment, with no obligation to
pick it back up when you leave. The goal at Flow Therapies is for
you to leave relaxed physically and rejuvenated mentally. I welcome
you with open arms, come as you are. We are here to serve as a place
for you to breathe, release and get back into the flow.
